Every month, the Department of State releases the Visa Bulletin. This bulletin is crucial for individuals navigating the Green Card application process, as it determines the progression of the process.
We highly recommend monitoring the Visa Bulletin and Adjustment of Status Filing Charts regularly, as monthly updates can significantly impact your application strategy.
Key Focus for January:
- USCIS is using the Dates for Filing chart for Adjustment of Status. This means that only applicants with a priority date earlier than the listed date are eligible to file their application;
- There are no retrogressions or changes compared to December Dates for Filing;
- The Final Action Dates: there are slight movements:
- EB-2 India will advance by two months to October 1, 2012
- EB-2 China will advance by one month to April 22, 2020
- EB-2 All other countries will advance by two weeks to April 1, 2023
Remember, staying updated with the Visa Bulletin can help you stay ahead and make informed decisions.
