About PassRight
PassRight was started by people who went through U.S. immigration themselves.
We know how it feels to put your career and your family's future into one application. That is why we built a team that plans every case properly, treats you with care, and keeps you informed at every step.
Attorney-led petitions, prepared with the Law Offices of Jacob Sapochnick.

Our story
Like many companies, PassRight started with our founders' own story. We went through U.S. immigration ourselves.
The process is important and life-changing, yet most people go through it without guidance, updates, or a clear sense of what happens next. We believed it could be done with far more care and far more structure.
2016
PassRight starts helping international founders connect with experienced immigration attorneys.
2018
Connecting people was not enough. We built our own tools and process to organize each case around a clear plan.
2023
We chose to work with one law firm, the Law Offices of Jacob J. Sapochnick, so every client keeps the same legal team from start to finish.
Today
Every case starts with a plan from your attorney, and our team makes sure it is carried out, step by step.
The people behind PassRight

Co-founder and advisor
Joanna co-founded PassRight after going through U.S. immigration herself. She knows how much is at stake, and she makes sure every client feels heard, informed, and never rushed.

CEO and immigration attorney
Jacob has practiced immigration law for more than 20 years and leads the Law Offices of Jacob J. Sapochnick. He makes sure every case starts with a sound legal strategy.

Head of operations
Inese designs the systems behind every case: checklists, timelines, and updates. Her goal is simple: nothing falls through the cracks, and you always know what comes next.
What we believe
We take on a limited number of cases, so each one gets the attention it deserves.
We build our own tools to stay organized. Your petition is written by people, because USCIS looks for specifics, not generic text.
We plan your immigration around your life and business: a fundraise, a new role, or a move with your family.
* Law firm results. Past outcomes do not guarantee future ones.
How we work
From your first call to your visa: what happens, who does what, and what you can expect from us.
