Recommendation letters
Letters that make the case for you.
Recommendation letters are a critical part of any successful O-1, EB-1A or EB-2 NIW application. They serve as evidence, and they highlight and support your character, your skill and your experience.
We build the package your case actually needs - as many letters as it takes.

Who signs them
The signature matters as much as the sentence
Letters are signed by people who know your work and have the standing to speak about it with credibility - and about its impact on the industry. They also have to show specific relevance in your field. The case gets stronger still when the signatory is a recognized expert with a record of prominence.
For an advisory opinion, the signatory should be based in the U.S. and have no financial interest in your work.

The different types
Three kinds of letter, three different jobs
01
Expert Opinion
A highly customised evaluation written by an expert in your field. It exists to show how innovative your contributions are, and how significantly they have affected the field.
02
Advisory Opinion
Traditionally a letter from a designated U.S. peer group or labor organization. Many O-1A applicants have no official peer group - in that case the letter comes from a U.S.-based expert or company with no financial interest in your work.
03
Letter of Confirmation
Supporting documentation that evidences your engagement or role in an organisation or event: what you did, and how your expertise contributed to it.
How many you need
It depends on how much your record has to prove
10-15
letters in a typical package
The final number depends on how many achievements your case rests on.
4-5
expert opinion letters
What USCIS generally expects to establish that you are in the small percentage at the very top of your field.
The rest of the letters confirm previous employment, membership or adjudication. Together they become a fundamental piece of an O-1 or EB-1A petition - and their quality moves the result in either direction, depending on how well they are written and how faithfully they represent what you have achieved.
You can get as many recommendation letters as your case requires. We put the package together around your needs.
